Brittney and Alex were discussing their purchase from a local store. Brittney purchased a lip gloss, but she wasn't happy with the color. She talked to the clerk who told her the color was called "pink blossom." In reality, it was a name that sounded good but was really a shade of red. So, Brittry took it home and tried to apply it, but it didn't look right on her.

She called the store and the clerk told her that he had just changed the color of that particular color. Brittny decided to take it back to be exchanged for a different shade. However, when she walked into the store to return it, she found out that the clerk she spoke with earlier had been fired after mistakenly telling her that pink blossom was actually a shade of color called "pink blossom." In other words, she thought he was right all along about the mistake he made with regard to the color.

In this situation, Brittney felt like she was wronged because she didn't get exactly what she wanted even though she made a mistake in making her purchase in the first place. The bottom line is that no matter how much we may think we know about something or how much we might think we know someone else, we can often be wrong about something or someone else.
